Gbl Classification <mods Please Read

hey guys,
few months ago, i got busted with GBL from that canadian website (operation webslinger). My case is still going on. does anyone know the exact classification of GBL. is it a controlled substance? as far as i could find, its a list 1 chemical. are listed chemicals classified as control substances? any help would be appreciated. and also, if any of you guys know how to fight this case, i appreciate it.

Why ask for mod input? GBL/GHB is a rec drug in my book and really has no place on this board. Just my 2 cents.

Considering it was a sticky for about a month and the guy has some problems seems like he is just looking for advice. May want to pm digger dan as he seems to know his stuff when it comes to this stuff and the law. I thought gbl was legal to possess, but if you had the conversion kits then you could be in more trouble as trying to make ghb. As for 1.4 butandiol I know that this is not yet classified in many us states. Good luck on your case.

I understand he is looking for advice but a bunch of gear heads in my opinion isnt the best place to look. I for one would start by finding a lawyer and perhaps get rick collins on the phone and he can likely work with your lawyer if he is not licensed in your state. The US gov is trying to bend the laws as of late and include precursors in with the final product, juts another way uncle sams spends our money to protect us. They cant prevent terrorist attacks so they in turn try and throw citizens in jail.

May want to contact the lawyer for the people who owned the product rejoove. I know they just got off big and they were major internet distributors. it had already cost me more than $15K in attorney fees. i basically have a legal question, i am in a very complicated situation. i am about to lose my licence over a "controlled subs. violation. but as far as i know gbl is not a controlled substance, its a list 1 chemical. i need some help+feedback. thats why i asked over the board. sorry if i wasted ur time by this. i will try to pm digger dan, in the mean time, if anyone reads this and has some legal feedback, i appreciate it. who is rick collins by the way?

Rick collins is probably the best lawyer in the country for these kinds of problems get a hold of him at http://www.steroidlaw.com/ and see what he can do, chances are if you had started with him you would have not only saved money but be done with your troubles to boot. bro, drop me an email, im well up to date on this, give me some details. as for scheduling, its NOT scheduled, its a List 1 chemical, meaning you have to be licensed by the DEA to purchase it, but simple possession isn't illegal, as long as its not altered or rebottled. If you had simply received the 3 260ml bottles from the site you ordered from and left them in the bottles you should be ok, but if they found sodium hydroxide and scales along with the GBL, they'll get you for intent to manufacture rather you had final GHB there or not, get it? anyways, drop me an email if you have questions, if you get a smart, educated lawyer and you had nothing in your possession but the simple GBL containers from that site, you will be exonerated easily.

I know mods at EF never condone rec drugs, but it seems as though all the sudden you guys are discarding GHB/GBL despite its use as a sleep aid and for natural GH release. As I recall there used to be a popup when you came to EF touting articles you would get by joining as a platinum member. One of these articles was how to make GHB. I know that article is no longer one of the offers, but what's the reason for the change in opinion over it? I don't intend this as a flame, I was just surprised at the responses.
