GBL and spinal fluid

Has anyone ever heard that drinking GBL drains the fluid from the bottom of your spine?

No the person I was told that by said he had been drinking for GBL on and off for a couple years.. last year he though he injured his back lifting but came to realize this year after taking GBL on a daily basis for three weeks and no lifting that he lower back started to hurt again. He asked around and someone told him that GBL if used too excessively could cause the fluid in the bottom half of the spinal cord drain..
