Do you remember the first time you tasted beer, I would bet that you didn't like it and I'm guessing you do now? So using your reasoning some things could be acquired in time, even sexual preferance?

If sexuality was a choice, I would think that gays would've had enough of the butt love after they get the shit beat out of them because of it. It's probably some hormonal imbalance during puberty that stays with them afterwards.
Maybe there's a drug in development to prevent that...they could call it "Heterosil" or something.

Its tough to say. If it is genetic, it stands to reason that it would be caused by a mutation or something that is not right. From an evolutionary perspective (survival and trasmission of the gene pool) being gay does not make sense.

I would say that there are people who are born with a predisposition and who don't ever become gay. Likewise I would say there are people who are gay who do not have such a predisposition.

Although if one was born with the gay predisposition, it is more likely they would be gay than not gay.

but who's to say for sure...?

i'm sure one day someone will find the gene responsible (if there is one), and fix the problem...

Huh... I wonder what that drug commercial would be like? The pharm companies like to keep you in the dark so they pique your interest and you think...hmmm, that sounds like something I have - I 'need' that drug!
