i think i may actually be for them now. it will be a great way to see if homosexuality is nature or a learned behavior. after 200yrs if there are more admitted homosexuals, it must be learned.

if there are less, then its most likely going to be something that was inherited.

by completely misusing the term selective pressure, or at least not in a textbook sense, then maybe we will attract some people that know something about population genetics...

well, homosexuality is still frowned upon. in 200 years, there might be more homosexuals because by then it won't be frowned upon at all. who knows.

i'm just waiting for someone to apply the new revelations regarding chemicals released in the brain and lust, love, and mutual partnership. it is believed that a person's preferences in physical and personality traits in potential mates is formed at a young age by associating the release of a somewhat addicting chemical with such traits. how this happens could be merely happenstance, but it's also applied to the development of fetishes. at young ages certain objects or actions can coincide with the release of the chemicals, activating a desire for them in the reward center of the brain. so if fetishes and preferences in partner's physical traits are likely formed earlier in life, what is to say that sexual preference is not?
