gasoline prices

Not absolutely sure about 93 since I use premium. Premium is up to $1.69 in Miami. I've seen regular (93) for about $1.50 lowest.

93 is your regular down there? That's our premium in central florida. Midgrade is 89 then regular is 87

I must be mistaken then. I don't go by the numbers I go by the funny names they give them. 93 may very well be premium.

Anyway, I've seen:

Regular: $1.51
Mid-grade: $1.65
Premium: $1.69

It seems to be a consistent conspiracy - regular grade gas is cheap while premium gas is expensive since people who drive Mercedes or Jaguars or other luxury-type vehicles use premium. I think the liberals are trying to make the average joe think there's no problem with gas so they'll oppose the war with Iraq, while the rich know the real story.

It's a conspiracy damnit.

REGULAR...........87 OCTANE
MID GRADE........89 OCTANE
PREMIUM...........93 OCTANE

I CANT THINK OFF HAND WHAT IT IS HERE IN NEW ORLEANS CITY. PROBABLY AROUND 1.55$/GAL.

IRONICALLY, I WAS ABOUT TO POST A THREAD IDENTICAL TO THIS ONE THE OTHER DAY BUT FORGOT.

That is great economy.

Most cars in N. America get closer to 10-12l / 100km

You won´t see many SUVs in Germany. How much gas a car needs is an important issue when buying a car here.

Wednesday: 1.34, 1.44, 1.54 per gallon
Thursday: 1.59, 1.69, 1.79 per gallon
Friday: 1.39, 1.49, 1.59 per gallon
Friday evening: 1.41, 1.51, 1.61 per gallon...

Crazy huh?

$1.69 a gallon here in NJ...that that really sucks when you drive an SUV and have to fill up twice a week - 20 gal. at a time :(

That certainly explains why Mercedes has the A-Class in Europe.

Plus the new VW Polo deisel 3 cylinder also seems like it is kick-ass on fuel consumption...I think it gets somewhere like 1500km per full tank.
