Clomid with arimidex worthless?

"While it has been claimed that Clomid "stimulates" production of LH and therefore of testosterone, in fact Clomid’s activity is achieved not by stimulation of the hypothalamus and pituitary, but by blocking their inhibition by estrogen."

Wouldn't this mean that if, post cycle, your already using arimidex at a high enough dosage to keep estrogen sufficiently low, clomid would be worthles...?

As cheap and available as clomid is, is it definately an improtant part of post cycle recovery. Hopefully, clomid just wont have as much work to do!

Glad we are revisiting this topic...as the most important part of a cycle is the end.

I also think clomid is worthless while taking androgens during weeks 1-10, unless being used as anti-estrogen...but we have arimidex for that.

Plus..you failed to listen to Bill Roberts advice on the amount of HCG to take.

According to him, 5000 iu is too much for one dose. It could desensitize the testes to LH...I personally use 500 a day for a few days every couple of weeks during my cycle.(just to keep the fellas awake)

I guess its where I got lost was making the assumption that with arimidex in the equation, there really wouldn't be any estrogen circulating in the first place. However, using my brain I see how this was an erronious assumption.

Sounds like clomid AND arimidex is the killer combination.

What is that suppose to mean? 5000IU 3 times a week? Up above you said not to take more than 1000IU at a time??

Bill Roberts did recommended 1000IU but that was prior to the new gem arimidex. Now there is relatively no gyno concern.

I may be wrong on the HCG, I'm waiting to hear from Bill Roberts or some other expert to find out the right way to do it.

Can you go from a bulking cycle of cyp 500mgs a week, dbol 30mgs day, deca 400mg a week right into a clen cycle? isnt that really bad wont u lose most of the gains even with clomid and liquidex? and is the hcg absolutly necessary after cycle?

Bill Roberts' main concern of high doses of HCG is that it will desensitize the testes to LH.

Yes...arimidex helps with the gyno problem..but 5000x3 is WAY TOO MUCH according to his methodology.

I'm not asking for just feedback, I want to improve it. Dont tell me 5000IU is too much, tell me what dose, if any would be better.

From now on, dont tell me why something is wrong, tell me why something else is better!

I didnt make this because I knew it was right, I made it because I wanted to know how do it right.

This is just a starting place.

Strength loss, depression, and limp dick are definately things I want to avoid. Coming off the wrong way will give you all three if you dont know the right way to come off and keep your hard earned gains.


Now lets start working together and get this shit figured out!

I changed the profiles because I wanted to start from a clean slate and even though Bill Roberts is the man, I'd rather not have any recommedations given prior to people viewing the cycle.

That was my fault. I started off by providing info that contradicted my idea.
