FYI.....DEA checking into Fina purchases

Think about this; if the DEA can support their case to the FDA and whomever else they need to convince that fina is being purchased by individuals other than the cattle ranchers guess what's going to happen. Fina is now on the controlled substances list. However politics play a major role and the cattlemans associations may still be able to line enough pockets to make sure this does not happen.

Second off, why waste resources on this? All they are going to get is somebody buying a cart of fucking fina. Now if someone buys 5000$ worth and is staying in an apartment that might throw a red flag, but tracking people buying a cart or 2 is just crazy.
Shouldn't this time and effort be spent on airport security not some dude looking to gain some muscle? I can feel safe that if some terrorist is ordering fina that is the only way they would get caught. LOL

They are looking for BULK purchases(from non farm-related persons), for the obvious purpose of conversion & resale. If you are one of these people, my advice to you would be to have someone else order your Fina & then ANOTHER person order the kits. If the same person can be tied to mass purchases of BOTH, then there may be cause to investigate further. Other than that, I doubt they will take it much further as the guy who said that it aint illegal to posess is absolutely right, and they can't do jackshit about you having it even if you DON'T have a Cow in your backyard. Just tell 'em that Bessy had a stroke & you just finished her off with some A-1 sauce right before they came a knockin'!

They(law enforcement of any type) rely on the fact that you DO NOT & wont have any clue as to these rights when they come a knockin'. Here's one I bet you didnt know--If the Cops ever come to your house on suspicion of ANYTHING, NEVER leave the premises of your house, even if the Cops ask you to "step outside". You don't have to leave with them or even talk WORD ONE to them, unless they have a warrant of some type. IF YOU LEAVE THE HOUSE(even crossing the threshhold, and onto the front porch), a cop can re-enter the premises WITHOUT A WARRANT based on the 'suspicion" factor alone! Cops rely on the fact that you have no idea that you don't have to exit your house if they ask, and that more importantly you ALSO won't know that they can re-enter once you DO step accross the threshold of your front door.

I disagree that they will be looking for people ordering mass quantities. Those people are probably legitimate cattle farmers. If you have a farm with 1000 beef cattle, you're going to be ordering a shitload of finaplix. It's the people ordering a box of ten doses I would find suspicious. That isn't enough to do jack with legitimately.

a 5000$ order heading to a apt# is going to be noticed. I mean you order 5000$ worth of fina at a time and live in a apt in a big city.

If you just have the pellets you could have been ordering for a buddy with a cow or 2.
I think its a difference between catching someone with pellets and catching someone with pellets, a kit and a syringe. Or catching someone with 5000$ worth of pellets and a fucking lab.

This already goes on to a certain extent. All implant purchases must be documented and forwarded to the Dept. of Ag. and FDA. by retailers. This has always been the case. And the possibility of inspectors showing up to see your herd has always been there. Not for the reasons discussed here, but to insure that implants are being used at approriate times prior to slaughter. If one buys fina, it is presumed that you own feedlot heifers.
One of the biggest implant catalogue dealers, Omaha Vaccine Co., now requires proof of ownership of cattle (bill of sale) before they will ship. Look for federal pressure to come in this manner.
I'm as guilty as anyone here, but I think it's time to treat implant posts in the same fashion that we treat source posts.
