Well then he shouldn't even consider doing gear, and you shouldn't consider giving it to him. He has too much to lose if he's that good naturally.

Tell him to wait till at least 20-21. And whats more important is to learn how to grow natural by eating a shit load of clean calories and training right. At 16 I am sure this kid doesn't eat right or know how to train right. When your 16 your test levels are extremely high, thats when all the acne and growth spurts come into play. Absolutely do not hook this kid up with gear or else you are feeding the media's bullshit.

by the way he'll prob. go pro either way. but just its a game of size, speed, strength, determination, and competetion.

If you can already tell he's gonna be a pro at 16 he definitely don't need steroids.

A) I can't believe that we are even having this discussion. HE IS WAY TO YOUNG. I personaly think no one needs them until they are older than 22 or 23. ( and I suppose that thought WOULD ONLY be if he did have this good of a chance at a pro level) I would really say 24 or 25.
B) I can't believe you would encourage this in any way.
C) I can't believe we are actually discussing this with you. He's a minor.

The boy needs a good old fashion 5 day a week ass kicking at the gym and on the field. He needs food. Lots and lots of food. :RADAR He needs strength training and Plyometrics until he pukes.
Then run him again........

But thats just my opinion.....

you can tell him one thing is for sure and this is comming from someone who is involved in college,-pro independent league,No way is he going to get signed to scolarship, free agent or get drafted if he is caught with the hint of him on juice,I think what all these young kids get the idea that the high profile big redass ball players did it ans suceeded well why cant I,because your body is not yet growing on its own,and think I am lyeing about getting dropped, look on MLB website, where it talks about the 36 baseball players from Rookie ball, short and long A all the way to Trip AAA,CUT,no further need of your service,That should be enough for you or your cousin, please dont do it,I am 36 and just started a year and half ago, wait

Well said galawman! Plus for all you guys telling him to wait until he's in his 20's: If he really is that good, he'll be in the majors by then, at which point, he should still stay away from gear. Baseball is tightening up hardcore; they don't really have a choice. By the time he gets there, there will be no leniency for steroid use. As far as I'm concerned, he should never use gear - not now, and not in his 20's if he turns pro.

Like was said earlier, if he's looking for gear now then he's definately not in that .00001%. I dont care how big of a rocket arm you think he has or what mad ball skills or numchuck skills, come to northeast texas (Texas High especially) and you will see LOTS of hardcore "soon to be pro" motherfuckers that would take your lil friend back to elementary school. Sorry to be so harsh, but your touting this dude like he's the best in the U.S. and its starting to sound silly. Gotta put you in your place and back to reality.

I hate to piss on your parade here, but being scouted when your a hs freshman doesn't equate to "definitely going pro". You need to be realistic and research your odds a little better. He's not the first or last, you can count on that. That's great that some college's may be showing interest, but in the next 8 years, assuming he's good enough to get into a solid school, any countless number of things can happen. Why don't you help you friend to get decent grades and use his talent to get a good education from a reputable school, instead of counting on something that may or may not happen. Having your record tainted by being caught with a controlled substance before you even get anywhere will not help his cause.
I'm not really buying this whole post in the first place, but if you're real and you have a friend with talent, you will not be doing him any favors by helping him find sources.
just my .02
