funding egold problems

my training partner back home was gonna order some stuff from overseas and he was picking up some stuff for me too. He needed to fund egold and used goldex and they called him back to confirm the order the chick asked him if he was sending the egold to buy something. I guess he said yeah he was buying some random product and she said EVERY supplier who uses egold is a scammer who will take your money and never send the merchandise, she cancelled the order immediately.

Is this true? he said it was a so-called 'reputable' source (postcard man). I don't know what to think. I need to do it before spring ball (3.5 months away) and my buddy who could get it got locked up for some other stuff and will be in for a long time, so what would you do? try to fund with another service and risk it?

that lady is full of crap.. i just recently.. talking last weekend.. funded an e-gold account.. through goldex.. and ordered something.. e-gold's has nothing to do with scammers and everything to do with being free and anonymous.. but then again.. are you SURE your guy isn't a scammer.. i was.. if you are.. then forget what the lady said.. or talk to the guy about other payment options

There was this whole fiasco with EVOCASH going under due to FLO (some HYI investment BS), and EVOCASH being the main source of X-changers business - they followed.

Basically, due to EVOCASH not being able to handle business properly, X-changers went under.

Why?? I love e-gold... other than the little service charge to fund it.. and sometimes it will take a day or 2 to fund it.. but it's easy and anonymous.. and once your account is funded.. just transfer the money.. and your done.. how hard is that.. no WU or paper trails or anything either.. and all of the processing is done out of the country.. even more security..

Evocash held about $2,500,000 in FLO money in outexchanges, so that's probably why - pocket and run IMO
