Fun at Walmart

(SoKlue I know you clicked on this thread!! Loff ya!)

Went to Walmart today to get several things - one of which included a can of spray paint......Well they check IDs now at the register if you look under 18....the guy asked me (jokingly) for ID...I said "Please! I'll be 36 this month!"

Well, he stopped what he was doing & said "No way! No!! I would have guessed 29. Wow I wish my mom looked like you!" Uhhhh, thanks!

Oh and a worker guy told me he'd buy me lunch!! :lmao:

No, the guy who wanted to buy me lunch was an old guy.....register kid was young-ish -- I'd say 20s........

after the bars close and you and your friends don't want to go home, time to go to 24 hour wal-mart and go play. Seriously. LEt it be football, riding bikes, hide and seek. Wal-Mart, 3 a.m. and drunks "can" be fun. sucks though when you aren't told to leave. kinda the whole point

Why would you need to be over 18 to buy goods at Wal-Mart ? Is this law of your state ?

Long ago myself, an ex bf, and another couple went to Walmart late one night. We had the guys crossdress in 70's clothes that belonged to my gf's parents. They looked freaky. She and I wore tap shoes and old bridesmaid dresses. We went in and made a lot of noise and bought wooden spoons and vaseline. We didn't offer any explanations.

That's a very "me" thing to do....though my husband has reigned me in a bit. He wouldn't go for that idea.

It is White Gloss spray paint specifically for plastics as I have a plastic outdoor end table that looks crappy.......so I'm gonna paint it so it'll look nicer & I may even cover it with ceramic tile (just on top)

It's a law now in this state that you can't buy spray paint if you're under 18....... I bought 1 can of spray paint which prompted the whole thing...

it's actually common all across the states. not necessarily all 50, but I'd wager there's at least a dozen that restrict sales of spray paint to adults.
