fuking jeep. And mechanics

Thing broke down again last night. Leaky injectors. There was like a puddle of gas sitting on the manifold. Anyway, I get it to a shop, they say they can replace the 2 leaky ones for $250. I say ok, then today the story is they've got to replace them all and it's $670.
I really've got to buy something else, I just can't fucking afford it, fixit bills aint helpin. I need a beer. Or a xanax.

Money fucking sucks. I am so tired of worrying about it all the time. I need to win the lottery or rob a bank.
 
I can't believe you can't change out injectors by yourself! You are a guy aren't you?

I have had four jeeps. My oldest is still driving a Grand lats got 170K+ miles on it. I've had two older CJ's and still have a real old one. All my Jeep problems added together don't add up to the trouble I had with one Chev Tahoe.
 
Jeeps are horrible. My buddy just bought one after I told him over and over not to. I can't wait for this thing to start falling apart.
 
jeeps are good, you are just getting fucked in the ass by the biggest rape artists in the world. mechanics will fuck you 8 ways to sunday and not even feel a little guilty about it.
 
I haven't known many people with Jeep problems. .......of course most of the people I know actually know enough about what they drive to avoid being bent over and raped!

The only other rig I've had that was close is a Toy 4runner I still drive.
 
I am a former Jeep owner myself. I'm not sure about the newer ones, but mine was a PIECE OF SHIT!!! I'm talking breaking down at least once/month, it was the biggest fucking hunk of shit I ever owned. Sure, they look fun when you see people driving them w/ the doors off and top off and all that happy horseshit, but trust me, the newness wore off fast once it started breaking on me.

Well, the engine hasn't blown up yet, but besides that it's had its problems.
bng, I probably could have fixed it myself, but I fixed it the last time it fugged up (last month) and felt like letting someone else do it. I was going to fix it myself if the local parts store had the injectors in stock, but they had to order them.

My ex-gf has a Cherokee and a Wrangler...no problems, she loves them. It sucks to get a lemon though.

Mine is a raped ape. Maybe some of your rides = crap but my jeep is far from it.
 
Don't listen to what people say about jeeps. Just bore and stroke it, drop the axles, LA suspension and change the exhaust and you should be alright. :)

I would, it is an EEEEASY thing to do. I wouldn't trust the 16year old pot smoker at the dealership to do it better than I can. I want quality synthetic in it and they would make me pay out of the ass. Also I would just feel a bit better knowing I did it as I drove down the road confident pimping my ride.
 
if u thinks jeeps are bad.....do NOT buy a jaguar.
