this damn pet store that i bought my snake from lied through thier damn teeth to me about the temperment of this thing,i got so much smoke blown up my ass about how gentle it is etc,well bullshit i cant even go near the tank without the little cunt striking at the glass,i dont have a clue how ill feed it and i dont find out until tomorrow if the store will take it back but i doubt it,and if they dont i have a 140$ piece of shit that will die

im really pissed because the manager who i dealt with to buy it said ya its a good snake,but now i go back and some other worker gets all bitchy saying oh they are aggressive blah blah

fuck im annoyed

i think its just the way they took care of it,im very comfortable around every other snake but this thing is sadistic,i have never saw a captive bred snake act this way before which leads me to believe they lied on that part aswell

you should give it back anyway. Try to get your money back, but if they won't, just let it loose in the store. They said it was easy to handle, so they shouldn't have a problem with it-----do it when there are lots of people in the store though, seriously, that would be funny. but thats alot of money for a snake. what kind is it?

You have every right to return the animal if it was sold to you under false pretenses. If you paid for it with a credit card, you can threaten to dispute the charge (which would pretty much mean that you get your money back and keep the snake anyway, thus the pet store might not like that idea too much). At worst, you can start throwing around the "L" word and the manager will probably give in.

Don't let yourself get screwed out of $140... even if it's only puny Canadian money. =)

too late for that now... i got a ferret years ago that ended up being satan in disguise.. that fucker bit me so hard i bled for days. i was pissed and despite the return policy they had up, they said THAT ferret wasnt part of it.. I DIDNT BUY HIM, he was a "gift"... i bitched and bitched and bitched.. finally i got SOME money back but not all... and i had to use that towards a new ferret from there... cocksuckers!!!

you can try and take it back, but phone up a citizens advice buereau if you canucks have one and ask them for advice.

how did the snake behave when you got it from the store? You could drug the snake, put it in the toilet at the pet store and when the dumbass manager sits down, it will become repulsed by the smell of bullshit and bite him in the ass. That should be worth at least the majority of the purchase price.

im pretty sure ill get my money back because ill make a big scene in the store otherwise

when i went to the store it was sleeping in corn husks so i didnt see it till i got it home and the fucker struck at me when i moved it from tank to tank

there is now more to the story which my mom brought to my attention

they gave me a transfer container which upon return i got a 10% discount on the entire purchase ,well when my mom went back she told them about the snake striking at me and the worker said it was a horrible tempered snake,

i asked my mom why she didnt tell me then and she figured i could handle it
