I'm currently reading a book called "DMT-The spririt molecule" by Dr. Rick Strassman, which chronicles an FDA study he undertook giving patients IV Dimethyltryptamine, the active component in LSD. He said an alarming number of these folks were having Near Death-like experiences, and contact with other dimensional intelligences. He started off highly skeptical thinking it was their minds just totally losing it, but became convinced of something else after seeing so many folks experiencing the same types of things. Really interesting stuff.
