Fuck!! Need Serious Help, What To Do??

To make a long story short, got my appendix taken out last night. Mid cycle, best shape of my life, now i'm told I can't lift for 6-8 weeks!! Anyone been through this, how the hell do I attempt to conserve some muscle mass, will I lose alot in 6 weeks? AM I FUCT?? sure seems it.

Any help, input would be much appreciated

You can still do abs and some isolated bodywork. Find out what you can do without hurting yourself after surgery.

I can't do anything invloving abs, They just cut them open in three different spots. Working out in the next 6 weeks (Especailly abs) = possibility of muscle protruding through abdomen wall = hernia which of course will mean more time off. Thats why im wondering if I should up my cals, change my diet, anything to keep from losing to much muscle.

I would up your protein, lower your carbs and keep your fats moderate. Since you won't be breaking down your muscle, you shouldn't worry about taking in the excess carbs, but you need to keep a positive nitrogen balance, hence the increased protein.

You should at least work on stretching your muscles while you are recovering to keep the blood flowing.

Also, you NEED TO FUCK THE BITCH IN YOUR AVATAR!

If you get pussy like that on the regular, you need to take advantage of it.

I had a double hernia repaired years ago, so I know what you are going through. I had to really restrain my movements for a few weeks and be very careful. I would keep you diet going, and tensing/flexing some muscles at diff. times does help if you are put in a situation where you are basically out of comm. for a time. Don't hurt yourself,... just go easy listen to what hurts and what you are able to do. Go from there. You want to get maximum recovery, not get re-injured. Stuff like tensing, and even a rubber band thingee that guys use to pump before a show is great for this. Pick one up almost any sporting goods store. Nifty item. Plently of rest along with your calorie intake and light, short but frequent attempts to tense the muscles that you can/able to will help a lot to keep your physique from most atrophy. Just my opinion...

The best idea would be to begin PCT. Technically, you could stay on but you wouldn't be able to maximize your results. I would go with option 1.

When the doctor tells you that you can not work out, it doesn't mean that you absolutely can not work out. Avoid all compound exercises or anything that involves activation of the core. Lower your volume, intensity, weight and focus on isolation exercises. Finally, make sure you have and adequate caloric intake. Otherwise, if you can not manage this, stay away from the weight training and focus on your nutrition and light aerboic exercise.

I would up the carbs and lower the protein. I think the carbs will preseve the muscle and the carbs will build it. Or you could keep both the same and just lower the fat as you really dont need any strength right now.

Plus, begin PCT.
 
PCT is a definate I know this, as far as training maybe I will heal up for a week or two and try some isolated excerices as stated above, as well as some light machine work so I don't have to involve the core as much for stability. What is your take on diet Jenetic?? I was in the middle of a cutting cycle, 40/30/30 p.f.c taking in around 2200 cals a day. Stats are as follows: 23yo 6'1" 210LBS, 8% BF.

It's hard for me to evaluate without a more detailed history, but your diet looks fine overall. Are you happy with the results thus far or is ther something in specific you would like to comment on?

On my third cycle 12 weeks of Sust + Eq 500/400wk. I have about 4 weeks left and am exteremly happy with how I look, getting very hard and vascular, although I have plenty of quality LBM. Been working out for about 5-6 years and am definatly in peak shape. I just want to figure out what I need to do diet wise to prevent going catabolic and losing muscle. I assume that if I stop my cycle now, I'll need to wait 3 weeks to start PCT with regards to the EQ halflife, that being said is it safe to assume that some means of muscle sparing will take place even without working out??

AAhh 10 pounds lost isnt the end of the world,i always say recover right,so you can get it back when you are healthy,and you will.6 weeks will go fast,push ups,walking/jogging,your routine,but say simplified,with really light weight,(careful,easy to throw on extra plates),anything to keep your body feeling conditioned,not so much "getting stronger".good luck.

There is nothing major to worry about. I would start PCT one week after your last injection. PCT would consist of 1000-1,500 IU's HCG 3x/wk (mon/wed/fri) in combination with 20 mgs Nolvadex ED for a total of 3 weeks. Then run 50 mgs Clomid ED in combination with 20 mgs Nolvadex ED for an additional 2 weeks.

Before you ask your next question about the half life of EQ or Sustanon in regards to being counterproductive during PCT, allow me to answer it. The action of HCG is virtually identical to that of pituitary LH. It stimulates production of gonadal steroid hormones by stimulating the Leydig cells of the testis to produce testosterone. This occurs independantly and is not affected by exogenous hormones and preexisting HPTA suppresion.

The elevated androgen levels are from an exogenous source and your endogenous production is suppressed. Therefore, waiting for the exogenous androgens to clear from your system completely ultimately results in lower total concentrations of androgens in your system when begining PCT. This results in an unfavorable androgen:estrogen ratio.

Also, make sure you get enough vitamin A it will help with the deliterious effects of High Cortisol levels, also mega dose vit C (5gms/day) as it will help fibroblasts with collagen synthesis. I would say give it a few weeks, start some light exercises, nothing that your bearing down and straining with, because the main reason they say 6-8 weeks is to allow the fascia to heal thus reducing the complication of an incisional hernia. If you go in too hot and hard too soon youll end up with another surgery to put some mesh in your abdomen and another 6-8 weeks on top of what you already wasted. Good luck and be patient.
