My friend had a bachelor party in Windsor Friday and Saturday night, since I'm in the wedding party I was obligated even though I found the whole idea to be lame and classless. So as we're going through customs they deciede to pull us over and check the car. While they were doing that the immagration's office runs a check on us with out passports. Since I was convicted of a DUI four years ago they wouldn't let me in, I gues it's considered a felony in Canada?

So while driving back into town with my friend I was thinking to myself: "Shit I really suck." but then after little consideration I though: "Fuck Canada really does suck...wtf"

It also works the other way Einstein. DUI in Canada means no-no at the US border. DUI is a misdemeanor here not a felony, but still we dont need drunk drivers here.

lol, I wasn't even driving and the shit happened four years ago. Someone told me it was because it was considered a felony there, guess not though. Last time I was in Canada was seven years ago so no big loss. I was able to get two bottles of Bacardi at the duty free store for 26 bucks

Check your state regulations. Maybe DUI is a felony over there and that's why you're being denied access to the Land of Pleasure....

If you ever get convicted for marijuana that's because you either had a shitload on you (over 30g) or were selling dope. Otherwise I cant remember the last time the average ganja smoker got charged.

And concerning refugees, dont try that cause you'll most likely spend a few weeks at one of the Canada Custom jail before being released and it sucks big time. Makes federal prisons look like Heaven.... Why do you think mexicans dont even try it....

lol, not a felony here...I think the jail time I would have had to serve would have tipped that off. I didn't even lose my liscence, I blew .08 which would have been legal if I had been 21. Bunch of bullshit if you ask me. Everyone at customs was a complete asshole too. I polished off a six-pack of Mickeys on the ride up and they were in a bag in the back seat, they didn't even say shit about that.

Uh, the last thing I would be doing as an American would be complaining about OTHER countries being pricks when it comes to things like border-control. Relatively certain the States is the forerunner in that department. Anybody in Canada at least knows when it comes to shipping, Canada is far more relaxed. my friends a us customs guy and he says everytime an american gets rfused, thy refuse 3 canadians in retaliation. it says it fun. h also says they'll be begging for people once the passport plan comes into place.

lots of politics up there. here at the osuthern border - u cn have a million felonies and cross as much as u want. they're just more high-tech there cuz both countries share dbs's (don't ask me why).

Didnt like thousands of mexicans made it through last year ? lol yeah, some cars may get through, it's normal. The border is so huge that it's virtually impossible to be everywhere. But they have a bunch of trucks with push-bars and Slick tops hidden so it's risky.
