tonight was super busy and didnt stay as peaceful as usual. some native guy who didnt get to go up and sing at karaoke freaked out on the lady running it for not going up,meanwhile this fuck was called up numerous times. well he went a little far and threatened her so I kindly asked him to leave and tried to settle him down and the stupid fuck pushed me.

me and another guy ended up carrying this stupid shit out. then having to escort the karaoke lady to her truck and this fuck head was waiting for her, so my buddy looked after it since it was outside the bar,no fighting yet but buddy appreared to have left. well the karaoke lady moved her truck to another door and while I was helping her load gear this prick trys to take a swing at me, I just barely ducked it and the stupid shit kept swinging. I caught him with a nice one to the jaw but he back me up against a streetlamp pole and I feel onto the street where the asshole tried to bootfuck me, I jumped up quick and he took off. now by this team my buddies from inside came due to karaoke lady screaming and they chased him up the road and gave him a few shots, eventually the cops picked his stupid ass up but man that could have been bad for me.

thankfully I have no marks on me except a scarped knee from falling

all I have to say to other bouncers is never let your guard down and never go outside alone after a altercation with someone.

Try to get the ones with a hard fowm handle that is retractable via push butto (and not the ones you bang on your shoes that telescope out). I have the telescope one but the push-button ones are much more practical (easy to hide) and effective.

Your talking about a maglite I think.........heavy duty torch with some serious weight behind it due to the number of batteries it contains. Specifically designed for security guards..........my brother is very fond of his. My g/f moved out on her own for 4-5 months and took in a stray native girl who needed help.

To make a long story short, the last week she was there we had the police called to her house 4 times. She was broken into twice, and had 5 native gang members come to her door with this piece of shit native girl to try and rob during the day. My g/f is in a goddamned wheelchair for Christs'sake! The shit I saw go on in this neighbourhood is disgusting. Thank god she lives with me now.

I've never been one to be prejudiced towards any ethinic group, but you don't really want to hear my feeling towards Aboriginal people at this point in time.

It may seem like hiding but my boss doesnt want me getting into it outside the bar because it draws police attention and me and him come to a agreement that its much better to talk a guy out and then if I need to remove someone take them to the door and lock it. fighting someone in the parking lot is not going to prove anything. I handled the bar part and this was unavoidable on my part I had to defend myself.

I do however plan to practice my fight skills more frequently after that.

Im sure he will be back and I will be waiting at the door to shut him down.

Let me explain something my man...Once you have had an altercation with someone, and they leave....even if for 15 minutes...and he had threatened you before he left....Once he has broken verbal/and or physical contact, he has established a break, a cooling off period per sey....

If he then comes back to act out his aggression...It's on pure and simple, and should court result from this altercation...he will lose....No judge will award him a thing....

Just ensure you use force necessary, and only necessary to neutralize the threat he poses at the time....

How much force is necessary?? That is a very grey area, but common sense dictates alot of that...Just don't want it to end up as the new Rodney King video...<wink>

Im a good fighter,have taken kung fu and learned minor amounts of tae kwon do. and boxed while younger. I just need to practice more. my defense is good because I blocked the punches he was throwing,but with practice I would have had him on the ground quick.

I used to carry the Big D cells one when walking the beat. I had washers in between the batteries and wrapped them all in black electrical tape. It was like a club and worked better then my baton. Four or five whacks on some “cough-coughs” head and it usually opened up pretty nice.

I used to also wear sap gloves. They are leather gloves with lead sewn into them. You can pretty much put your hand through a windshield and not feel a thing. Will not leave a single bone in the persons face intact.

Bro, I don’t know how they work if you are in contact with the person being stunned. Every time the sergeant pulled the taser out (shoots 2 prongs into the person from a distance) there was no second party contact. If you are scrapping with someone and in direct contact with them I am not sure if you may also get stunned if you stun them.

Something to look into maybe. I would say test it, but you better have a really good friend to test it with. If you are not sure what it feels like just zap your leg. It will feel like someone just hit you with a sledgehammer. When we (NYPD) got them before they were taken away, we would do some really stupid shit with them. Zapping each other on the asses and stuff. Zapping radios, cars, or whatever we could think of.

Im a step ahead,a tazer shoots the prongs a stun gun must be in contact with them,current will not jump to you if you are touching them,I will however test it with my buddy and hopefully build a good immunity incase it was ever turned. but this is going to be a last action approach if its to big a guy for me to physically remove and they try to get violent or for a guy like last night who came quickly.

This is not tear gas. You can NOT build an immunity to it!

It will also leave two small burns where contact was made.

They work GREAT! Just a quick zap and the person falls like a lead brick. By the time they come to their bearings they are outside on the curb.

It can cause serious injury in rare cases but I don't see many people with heart conditions or pace makers crossing your path too often.

i think the ASP would cause much less fuss would it be found on your person, plus you have unlimted strike ability with the ASP at longer ranges, allowing you to fend off knife attacks should it get hairy. but still, im sure that stun gun would do some damage

i think you did well.....most people would go on the defensive like that but you got the blocks in and managed to compose yourself...as soon as you had a chance to he ran but if he hadn;t im sure you could have got some attacks in. it would be really useful to have some guys watching your back though i assume thats what most bouncer do

I had friends at the bar helping me earlier,I just let my guard down and thought buddy had left and didnt ask anyone to keep a eye on me while I was helping her load gear and that was the result. even though I feel he never connected with any punches or anything,and I got mine in so Id say it went as good as it was going to. but I do plan on training alot more to get the edge back,and be more skeptical of my surroundings.

the jacket may help depending on style but my bar is always really hot and I could not bother to sweat over it.

You probably have a native population that is around the same as ours.

Under normal circumstances I have nothing against any race. But I have seen large amounts of the Native poplulation make me wonder why they exist.

I am talking 16-25 year old Natives who live off Welfare and crime.

I don't know the numbers but would estimate a good 90% of them are invovled in this type of lifestyle. I have watched the little 3 year old natives running freely on the streets after midnight while the parents scream and fight at drunken parties. This goes on, on a daily basis. It makes me sick. These kids are being brought up without stable, loving home environments and these little criminals are the byproduct.

This is not an angry post, I'm just frustrated with the situation.

they do stuff similar to the ASP but made of steel, which can corrode or get roughened and cut when striking the attacker....provided you take good care of it you could shoot for one of those...search on the net for one.
