Fruit Post Workout

I have recently *slowly I might add* caught on to sugar intake after my workout. I'm hypoglycemic(for those who don't know I'm the opposite of a diabetic) and usually am sugar free except for my blueberries in the morning. Lately, I have been having a banana pwo with my shake and creatine but was wondering if fruit is better for pre or post workout. Let's create a hypothetical world where fructose is the only sugar I can get right now....
Any help guys??

well, Fructose will go to replenish liver glycogen, not muscle glycogen (where you need it to fuel your next workout)...

Being Hypoglycemic does rule out the normal method of just dunking in the vat of dextrose as it will create too much of a insulin spike and in your case it will be dangerous.

In all honesty Linzi, I wouldn't trust this question to the board, but to a Sports Physician, one that holds the knowledge of both worlds, so you don't need to explain why you need the carbs PWO.
