Last night on PBS..

Showed how we got here and lots of interesting surprises to make you wonder why we waited 12 years,
and that the rest of the world has not cared what Saddam does for the whole time.

Anyone else catch this ? Very good program if you want to get caught up...

PSB is typically Conservative in nature generally, but I think it
showed both sides of the last 12 years fairly objectively IMO...

Lots of video of the inspectors being told to Piss off
The best was when they were refused admittance to a chem plant and told that they could climb a water tower just outside the gates to look around..

When they did, they saw trucks sneeking/hauling stuff out the back gate.

They took off after them in jeeps and found they were machines used to enrich Uranium...

The most shocking was when the inspectors asked for help from the UN, several times they were ignored.

Did they mention that the weapons inspections up until 1998 had destroyed more of Iraq's WMD weapons than all the US bombing did during the Gulf War?

Did the documentary mention that these weapons inspections were derailed by underhand US actions in 1998 when it was exposed that the CIA had planted spies among the inspectors?

Did the documentary happen to mention how many of those weapons were supplied by Americans in the first place, in particular Donald Rumsfeld?

Yes, A whole section on Don and the other Hawks, his re written document mentioning removal vs containment of Saddam that was re-written ..
