Canada, a far-away land with a strange-sounding name, is considering whether to decriminalize marijuana. O Canada! This news comes on the heels of the United States Supreme Court decision to make no exception to marijuana laws for sick people. With any luck, the Canadian Supreme Court will spend some time thinking about dope later this year and rule that smokin' pot is cool. Just as long as you don't burn any holes in the couch or bogart that joint, my friend.

True oh so true. It is a good thing too because there are so many better things the L.E. agencies have to do then find a little weed. It is only administration making them do this. It is way more beneficial top work on stopping child molestors rapists etc.

About 10 months ago now the courts said they would come with their decision in a year. That would be this summer. Not only is it the issue of decriminilization, but also legalization which I, nor many others want. You see, if it is decriminalized then the police can't charge you for it so no worries about lagality, but if it is made flat out legal the Gov't. can controll and sell, thus meaning taxes on it and they get all the profit. As nice as this sounds it isn't going to happen, I'll place money on that.

I agree with Organon. This topic has come up time and time again on here. One of those times was maybe 5 months ago. There was 2 particular potheads, one american and one canadian, totally convinced it is going to become legal and soon.
O well, let them think what they want.
