BUSH ANNOUNCED TODAY THAT THE INVESTIGATION (THE U.S.'S INTERNAL INVESTIGATION) WILL BE OPEN TO CANADIAN OBSERVERS.

THIS IS IN RESPONSE TO WHOEVER SAID BUSH WAS BRUSHING OFF THE INCIDENT IN A PRESS CONFERENCE OR SOMETHING. HE MUST NOT BE BRUSHING IT OFF ALL THAT MUCH!!!

Well, i am glad that Bush is finally acknowledging everything. It just seems that had the Canadians not reacted the way they did than nothing would have been done.

Well, here is my reasoning. Bush doesn't say nothing. He tries out the waters, sees how everyone reacts. If no one says anything, they let it slide, he lets it slide. If they do, as they did, than they make big announcements.

dude this isn't that big a deal where bush has to send his condolences for the deaths of 6 soldiers. Bush is a pretty busy man, plus he likes to wake up kinda late, so that doesn't leave him very much time for apologies. If it was like 50 guys maybe he'd personally say something.

Regardless, there was going to be an investigation anyway, that's how the military operates.
