anyone have this, other than from drinking alot of water. anyone have problems with getting up in the middle of th night to urinate. i prob go like 15 times a day or more. diabetes? i thought it was prostate related but ive been this way since ive been young, and im 30 now. any input? thanks!

Well, how much water are you drinking?

Also if you drink a lot close to your bed time then you will wake up and go to the bathroom at night.

don't drink for that a gallon a day inless you are very active. people who drink 5 gallons a day are wasting their time. thats excess to me

i dont drink alot of water, a fair amount, but ive had this problem for like 20 years. so although water could dictate how much i go, even when i dont drink water i go regardless.

johnny, what else are you taking? any diet stuff? usually diabetes would also have a" unquenchable thirst" and that your main focus in life is to get a drink of water.....thats all you think about....prostate is concern....you need to be checked out for both of these.....ephederine based products found in diet drugs will cause the prostate to enlarge and cause frequent urination as well as high volume water consumption during the use of diet drugs/supplements

I wouldn't wanna play doctor here then. Maybe wait and see if huck or macro will respond, but I would suggest asking your doc ...

not taking ephedrine

did a urine test, getting blood work done. seems like i have some symptoms of diabetes, but not all of them.

there are different types...so good job going to Doc.....let me know if you need anymore info on diabetes...There are some very knowledgable people on here so I dont see a problem with you getting the help you need, if and when the time comes...I have access to treatments and lifestyles for diabetics......

I too have a problem with voluminous frequent urination, and have to awaken in the middle of the night several times. I've not visited a doc, but believe it is an overactive bladder issue.

The only problem with medication that treats overactive bladder is, it bloats you incredibly bad... I know this because my sister took the meds for a while...

I pee all the damn time....

My dad actually had me checked for diabetes in high school; the doc isn't concerned about it now, since it's been like that a long time and blood sugar, etc. are all fine.

Some people just pee a bunch ;)

One thing that works for some is to put yourself on a schedule or always hold it as long as possible in order to increase your bladder capacity. I couldn't be bothered to do that, just don't take my aisle seat on an international flight, LOL.
