Freaking Out

I woke up this morning with a grape sized abscess, lump, cyst type bump right under the skin on my inner thigh right next to my groin. I am going to the Doc this afternoon. This was not there last night before I went to bed so it formed over night somehow.

Anyone every have this before? I am wrapping up my cycle with the next 3 weeks of test-e at 250mg a week before I bridge into a sust, eg, var cycle for 14 weeks.

Sounds like a really swollen lymph node.

Could be cancer, or a bad infection. Since it happened so suddenly - 90% chance its an infection.

No I don't inject in my inner thigh. I think it is an infection, but I have no fever or maybe a slight one.

I had something similar awhile back. It wasnt an abcess though. It was a swollen lymph node. Sounds like your body is fighting off an infection somewhere.

I haven't been sick. I do have a small cut on my hand, but doubt that would trigger this. The only thing that is scaring me is the fact that it crept up overnight.

Does your old lady have a yeast infection? The same thing happened to me a few years back and that is what the Doc told me. It was a swollen lymph node. He gave me some antibiotics and it cleared up. I put two and two together and about the same time my old girl had the doughy puss. That shit really freaked me out though. It swole up to about the size of a golf ball. It wasn't really painfull, just a little tender. Good luck.

No wonder bread kicking at all. Just went down for the buffet Monday night actually. I guess I will wait and see what the doc says today. I hope it is something simple.

No, not a hernia. Very odd I just looked at it and it appears to have decreased in size. 4 hours ago it was the size of a grape and now it is half that size.

I don't know whether this is good or bad. DAMMIT...

Lymph node inflammation is infection, inflammation, blocked lymph ducts or your body is dealing with a 'foreign' substance.

The foreign substance could be the gear or what the gear is suspended in.

I am wrapping up a 12 weeker of test, dbol, deca and winny...

Only thing I am still taking is test. All theories make sense so far but wouldn't this have appeared earlier if I was having a weird reaction? I have been off the winny for about a week now.

There are two types of immune reactions, acute and acquired. Different types of white blood cells, and the acquired reaction has the cell types that would hang out in lymph nodes.

I am trying to remember the time for affinity maturation of your immunoglobulins, but it is not a super fast process, matter of weeks. Which is one reason we have memory cells, so the next time we encounter something foreign the reaction is faster.

I wouldn't stress too much (also suppresses the immune system), unless it goes on for a long time.

There is also Bertolli's cysts or something like that, where a gland near the crotch gets blocked.

That could end up being more painful.

I really don't think it is anything all that serious though. Just your immune system doing the job it is meant to do.

Either a lymph node or a boil. Had one on my arm once.
My wife is in the medical field, she deadened it and drained.

This is my guess but have it looked at.

Hey everyone thanks for all the help yesterday. I went to the doc and it turns out it was just a BOIL. I was at an indoor waterpark for 4 days last week and I guess from wearing the swim trunks, being in the chlorine water and who knows what else is what caused the irritation. Long story short got some antibiotics and should be good in 5-10 days.
