uninstall it and install trillian. it is a program that allows you AIM, YAHOO, MSN, etc... chat all in one. it is much ligther on your memory than all that crap. ALSO IT IS NOT AOL SO IT DOES NOT USURP YOUR ENTIRE SYSTEM.

YES YOU CAN CHAT ON THOSE AOL GROUPS. I TRIED YESTERDAY. i know you were wondering that frack...

I've thought about this program. I need to do something to free up memory. But I don't know how well I would like the program. Do you like it better than using the individual program? I'm on all 3, AIM, Yahoo, and MSN. It might be easier.

haha judging from some of my experiance that statements def the truth, I don't care for trillian though, you can't send files or anything with it..

no, but awhile back, some chicks on the subway told me I had a great ass. made me blush... and feel so dirty and used.

and NA - Verisign worked out some deal between them - I would assume that means it is an ssl connection between the two. (your client to the AOL servers).

so if I have mine set to encrypted, and you have your's set to plain text - it will still work. it just means that someone snooping your network could see what both of us were saying, and someone snooping mine would see neither.

this is the part where code comes in and talks about birthday attacks on ssl and how his 30lbs of turquoise computing power should make me envious.

i had never tried aim chat rooms before. i suggest trillian to frackal a while back and he asked if it supported the chat rooms. i tried one the other day, and it did.

now, i promise not to bruise your fragile ego by posting anything even remotely technical. i know that is how you validate yourself, so i wouldn't want to impugn.

code will feel insecure and try and trump any of your statements momentarily, though....
