Lastly, regarding this bringing unwanted attention to the boards, please remember that everyone, including all major media, already knows about Elite -- we have been online since 96, we serve 500,000+ pages a day, and average 40,000 visitors a day. This site is not a "secret." And I honestly believe we have nothing to be ashamed of here.

Yes but everyone means law enforcement, FDA, and media. The general public is another story. That's all we need is a bunch of public outcry from a whole platoon of soccer mom's. That will promt the powers at be to take more action.

that 60 minutes article is pretty sad..........a young life ended too soon. pretty strong fuel to fire the anti as crowd but that is how it is with everything. theres no telling what was going on with that kid but i will admit he was probably going nuts with all the exogenous juice mixing with his already brimming natural test. i am glad that we PREACH to these kids that they must wait much longer to begin.

like so many have said, there can't be anything positive said by the media. they would be looked at as irresponsible journalists by the mass public if they painted any positives. i can see it now, "Fox boycotted for promoting steroid use among young athletes!"

I am all for stronger steroid education and policy enforcement, especially at the high school and university levels.

It's unfortunate that this kind of twisted journalism is the norm. There are enough good sound reasons for the stance on steroids for youth and sports in general that this kind of thing is really unnecessary. 60 Miinutes behaved as the vultures that they are by pouncing on a tragic incident with this young man and his family to present hightly skewed information from people who are as far away from experts as I am from becoming president of the US. Taking personal tragedy to biasly and ignorantly present mistruths, half truths and laughable "journalism".
