Found Out You Can't Patch Motorcycle Tires.,

MAn, I am going through some dark times. I just put two new avon tires on the gsxr and the back kept going flat after 2 days. Take it back in and they said it has a pin size hole that is causing the slow leak. I said can you patch it and they said no liability reasons there goes $130 in the wind.

Do you think the manufacture will eat it since it is only 2 days old?

the manufacturer should cover it. If they don't you basically have no choice but to order a whore off the internet and take it out on her.

WIsh i had more options for you but that's all there is

Well, would you really want to trust a patched tire on a two wheeled vehicle while doing freeway wheelies at 120mph? I didn't think so.

For the record, you can patch a tire....just dont go above 70 if you do.

Also, why do you post about every single damn motorcycle problem you have? lol.

Go there! People over there can help you better too!

Ok I will try those. It seems to me though sport bike topics are better than some of the ones posted here especially to a fellow rider.

I would shy away from the Gixxer boards if I were you. Too many squids on those. Gixxers tend to be the squids choice bike.
