Hammy, all women come with a price tag. You may not have to pay with money, but you will pay in some shape, way or form (time, sexual deeds, shorter life span, going bald, heart problems, etc.). ;)
 
I had a dowry. My parents wanted 1 kleenex, 4 nickles, and 16 pounds of ground beef before they'd give me away.

My parents gave up on me in my teens. They are hoping to retire off my sister.

ok, I met his sister in my country and jokingly I told her that if her brother was as good looking as she is, that I wouldnt mind meeting him. I was only a bit over 18 and still wild girl and a partier, so I was just messing with her.
Here in the States, she used to live close to my cousin, so one day I received a phone call from my cousin asking me if I wanna talk to the brother. I said sure - I thought, wtf am I gonna lose? Nothing, I am still partying and stuff and not taking anything seriously.

So, he called me and I was hooked on his voice - deep, hoarse voice. We were talking on the phone, exchanged photos and he came. The thing was - if we dont like each other, we dont get married. We did, we were all over each other....

he came to get you and brought you back to the states? were your parents happy, or upset?

yeah. My parents were upset, my mom was begging me not to go away, my sister wa devastated....
But, I said fuck it. The guys over in my country were not interested in long term relationships, I didnt wanna waste my time on their games, so....

we talked for 4 months, he came, we got married after 3 weeks. My mom was begging me not to get on the plane and go, she said: forget it, you dont have to go...

he is macedonian, but born in the States. So, I was no foreign to him. A lot of macedonian and serbian guys go back in the country to get a wife. Someone is gonna tell them about some good girl, they are gonna talk on th ephone, pics and they go there.

He told his sister that he was tired of the sluts and games and he wanted to marry a good girl. His sister told him about me.

I was 20 and so was he. He came, stayed for 1 month and a half and left. No, I wasnt a good girl, he even asked me how many guys have I slept with :rolleyes: I was like wtf?
I left 2 and a half months after we married
