Forearm Splints

They are pains on the inner part or your forearms (when your body is in the anatomical position). Its a shooting pain especially when i am doing curls. Its almost debilitating at times! I feel when i am putting the bar down i need to release really really slow and that takes some pain away.

Anyone ever get them and what did you do about them?

Used to get them and sometimes they pop up now and then when i over use my grip. Didn't do anything for them really, just waited until they went away.

yes....i only get them if i do heavy barbell curls for an extended period. i've stopped the barbell curls for a little while and it has completely gone away. i suggest doing the same to let them rest, just hit the db's heavy and hard for a while

I got those for months and it hurts like a bitch. The best advice I can give you is to stay away from curls for a while, something like a month and resist it, because curls are so tempting I kept going on and that's why this pain went for months, until I got two weeks off from the gym during the past holidays and i'm healed, even so I'm taking it easy with bicep training. I had the same exact symptons specially the part where I had to open my hands slowly after a curl set or a heavy bench press (yes those also bothered me on the bench press). I also had some massages with some gel. Good luck.
