Hi Folks. I'm just sitting at my home in Santa Rosa California on a beautiful
November day with the sun out and the temperature at about 72 degrees.
What a beautiful day. It's great to be alive and healthy. Anyway, what I would like to pass on to you folks is a FYI. I joined a Internet Personal Training Web site back in August 2005. I paid over $500 but less than $1,000.
A promise was made to provide me with one-on-one personal training which would include a variety of documents and information which I could apply to my own personal proram. Also, I was lead to believe that unlimited phone
conversations would be made available to me to achieve the correct program
for my goals and aspirations.
Boy was I disappointed!! I signed up with this outfit back in August and told the gentleman on the phone that I would like to get started on September 1.
He assured me that the Sept 1 start date was no problem. Wrong! Not only did we not start on September 1, but, I was asked to provide blood tests for God only knows what reasons?I guess they wanted to know what my liver levels were and my various vitamin B marks. Any how, I told them that this
would cost me additional monies that I just didn't have.
I just got a really bad feeling about the whole thing, so I asked them for my money back. It is now November 14 and I haven't heard back from them at all. I really felt that they were a reputable outfit and would return my money if I wasn't satisfied. Well I'm not. It was a service that I paid for in good faith, but, they never delivered, or were honorable and courteous to return my money. I am just a dumb 60 year old white guy trying to improve on my
physical appearance with the help of experts.
So...what do you folks think? Was I just plain stupid to trust an internet web
site that promises all these god things for you, or, too gulible. Shouldn't I ask
for the return of my money for services not provided? I did file a complaint with Internet Fraud Services and the F.B.I. These are two Federal Gov't organizations that are watchdogs over Internet Companies making false claims.
Thanks for your time and I am sorry if I was too wordy. I would appreciate any comments or constructive thoughts that any of you might have.
