I know some of you guys arent into the whole rap thing, and for those who do, recently there was some really big inner label beef between 50 cent and The game (neither are strong mc's but are very big in the rap world). Well, not too long ago there was shooting amongst both entourages while in downtown NY, and while everyone was led to believe that their beef was real because it involved violence in people getting shot...it was all just a hoax. A publicity stunt to sell more records....quite possibly the weakest shit i've ever encountered. Using real violence to sell records = too far. Anyways, there was a picture in the paper this morning of 50 kissing The game and giving him a box of chocolates and flowers (pretty gay for some g-unit gangstas if you ask me) to show that this "beef" is over.

Yup, I used to have some respect for 50 because you was a smart business man and could roll in the money....but not anymore - guy's just a gorilla.

for real? I don't listen to the busted ass radio "pop" (like game and Fitty), but that story is on around me (CT/NYC) everywhere - Hot 97, the papers, etc. i didn't know it came out as a hoax though.Too bad, they all should be shot so we don't have to hear their pathetic rhymes anymore.

wtf do you really expect though? neither of those guys can get along on their skills (or lack of) alone. they need the hype - 50 needs to take his shirt off and do MTV specials and shit cause that's the demographic that buys his shit.

it was and it wasn't...if you knew the details of the whole story you would think the same. The fact that they were both a block away doing radio shows when the shootings happened and the neither of the two rappers got shot...seems like a lame attempt to get shit going. ANd the people who were shot, got a bullet in their lower leg. Now, im not saying that a bullet to the leg isnt bad, but if it was real beef, somone would have probably died or got shot in a more severe place. (BTW, the person from 50's camp who got shot was his bodyguard...go figure...the one guy who you would expect to take a bullet).
