I have a ? with regards to my HRT. I currently get 200mg delatestry every week (just increased from every 10 days). Mid week my test levels are above normal (whick I would call a spike) but at the end of the week they are mid normal. Is it alright/normal to have these spikes.? My doc doesnt't test my estrogen. Will my estrogen be high during the spikes and normal at the end of the week? I'm nervous about the spikes but feel like shit if my test levels aren't around the midnormal range. What is your input/opinion. Thanks guys.

Of course your levels are going to decrease the further away you are from shot day. If you want to avoid that just park yourself in the bathroom andre-inject every few hours.

Wow, 200mg/wk and your levels are only mid-norm a few days after the shot! Anyone I know is pretty high at that dose. You will see variation, my doc keeps it just above high normal the day after my shot. The HCG near the week end brings it up a bit. I don't feel much for ups and downs.

Swale recommends the same thing. 500 IU of HCG two days before your delatestry shot will cause your testes to produce endegenous testosterone. This will not only bring your total test levels up when they would be lowest, but will also maintain your testicle volume and function.

your options are to inject the 200mg twice a week (100mg 2x/wk) or to shoot hcg two days before your shot to raise endogenous T levels. not a bad idea to keep your balls active. keep in mind hcg can spike estrogen as much or more than an injection. also, the hcg strategy may or may not be productive depending on the nature of your hypogonadism.

either way after you even out your levels, you should have your estrogen levels checked as well, and see where your free and total T levels are at in that context.

My balls got radiated from chemo and radiation, so my own production is fuckall. My doc hasn't tried the hcg route (even though I have asked). Just to clarify Nsash - mid week post injection my levels are above normal. At the end of the week they are about mid normal. This is where I feel the best, I just have concerns that the 4 days a week (or half the month) my body is in an elevated test state (beyound normal) for the rest of my life.

there is no need to worry about the test spike its all part of the theropy take advantage ofit not every one gets juice payed by there drug plan.there is no need to worry bud i'm in the same boat.

Did you have cancer ? I am hypopituitary with a small tumor on my pituitary stalk. I've been on hrt for 14 years and on HGH for 3 years because of it. What is your age ? When I was on hcg ,I would shoot 1500 IU's and be in the pink for a week but I shot 250 EW of Enthanate. I never used hcg till last year. Did'nt need it.I experment on my body every so often.

I had a sarcoma. I found out the hard way - time. Had progressive weakness and pain in my hip but docs didn't worry about it much (even though I bugged them all the time) until the tumor grew pretty big. They said I was too young....... bullshit.....blaa, blaa, blaaa.

Swale recommends 250 IU as his current HCG protocol. I'm using him for my HRT. He also just published a paper regarding this. The HCG made me feel way better. More wood while sleeping, better sex drive, etc. I don't know about ball size because mine are pretty big normally. I am very happy with the HCG results so far.
