Diabetics tend to have circulation problems and after years of having diabetes some end up having there feet amputated or have serious heart problems. Would AAS or GH use cause this problem to be worse? cbeaks

maybe someone else can help me here. My feet feel a little bit numb. I had a really tough leg workout two days ago and the day after is when I started to notice it. I have always been told that diabetics need to be careful with our feet. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced anything like this. It almost feels as if my foot is asleep or a bit cold at times. I am going to a podiatrist next week but I wanted everyones opinion because I know the doctor will just tell me to stop my gear usage. - cbeaks

yea...diabetics get circulation problems if they dont control it well. Think of it as all the extra sugar in your blood will line your blood vessels and shrink their diameter. Other stuff happens too. Feeling cold is also a symptom.

I have very good control. my hemoglobin a1c has been under 6 for about the past 7 years but I have been diabetic for 20 years. Should I be worried about starting my next cycle?

tough to say.......i dont know how the cycle will affect you. If your feet are always numb, it could also be diabetic neuropathy, which is where the nerves in your feet start to get damaged. But this is usually long term. For circulatory problems, you could try taking some aspirin, which you should always be on anyway due to your risk factors. It will improve your circulation somewhat. There are other meds too which your doctor could tell you about.

If your leg workout was so hard and this all of a sudden started, then you could have a compressive neuropathy or you just happened to start getting diabetic neuropathy now, at the same time. It kind of depends on where the numbness is if it is only one side or both sides. Too complicated to deal with here. Sorry i cant be more specific, but i dont have you in front of me.

As for your HgbA1c, the upper limit is 6.5 so being around 6 isnt necessarily ideal.

Im off to the gym.
