I'm 41 years old, weigh 318 lbs (yeah I'm a fat ass, but I'm down 92 lbs) who has finally learn the secret of how I can lose weight. I've been training hard the last 10 years, and I'm getting pretty excited about seeing the muscle as the flab melts off. As I approach my goal of 250 (next year) I really want to see some improvement.
Like a lot of you, I watched the Pumping Iron 25th annaversary and thought I really liked the physiques from that era, which were full but not like the huge measurements the professionals sport today.
I know steroids were developed in the mid-50s, so I imagine the first bodybuilding group to use them were the Larry Scott, Dave Draper, Sergio guys. My question is this: does anyone have a reasonable idea what guys from that era and the Arnold era were taking?
In terms of myself, I'm not too crazy about needles, so I wonder what type of oral steroids takes the least toll on the body, and what minimum dosage provides some reasonable muscle building benefit
