Flu shot anyone?!

Any reason I shouldn't be getting a flu shot? I've never had one, but would like to do it this year, because being sick sucks ass. I'm not on a cycle right now, just almost done my post-cycle clomid (few more days).

its not 100%

the GP will guess what strains are likelyto be virulent (or some other doc will) and he'll immunise u against those. however my mum gets em and she aint been ill yet. well worth it just make sure they allow you to,over here itsmeant for the old etc. and if u want it ya gotta pay

I got one last year did not get sick once. I just got another one last Friday. You can't even feel the needle it's smaller then most vaccines

thanks for the tips. the vaccine people are coming to my work, and it's free for all employees. i heard some stories that people actually get sick from the shot, which is what was worrying me. venus - trust me, after my 2nd cycle i'm not afraid of needles anymore, lol.

I think people thought they got sick from the flu shot because it takes 2 weeks to work and it is given during flu season so if in that 2 weeks you get the flu from someone you would probally blame it on the shot when infact the flu is at its peak in that time

I get a flu shot every year. I've heard all kinds of wild stories about how it temporarily lowers your immune system, causes alergic reactions, gives you cancer, etc.

All I know is I haven't gotten the flu for almost a decade.

Oh, and the injection site is usually a bit sore for a few days. Not nearly as bad as a shot of sus250 though. (or so I hear, lol).

I believe all vaccines and antibiotics temporaly lower your immune system but it is so worth it. Otherwise you will be wishing you had when your moaning in bed. Just got to make it through the first week or 2 without getting sick and then your sick free for a year. Why don't you take some catsclaw to bring up your immune system while you wait for the vaccine to give you immunity?

I think it should me mantadory this year. especially since anthrax symptoms resemble the flu. I can just imagine in december everybody and their mom is going to overload the health care system complaining they have anthrax poisoning when they really have the flu. great.
