A fresh good quality oil actually tastes quite good

Bad (rancid) oil, on the other hand....

Don't listen to tom. I buy the flax seed found in the cooking section of the supermarket and eat it like cereal. much better tasting then flax oil

Well the first part of digestion is "chewing" so A simple answer to this would be to chew more carefully.

When I ate them I would sprinkle it on top of my oatmeal. I chewed, but did not mash them into a fine paste I don't have time for that. While I am chewing I am starving my body of nutrients

I suppose the coffee grinder solution could work, but if you go through all that much trouble why not just get the oil? Unless you want the extra fiber or extra freshness I suppose.

I just buy'em already ground up. There is a difference in taste between shitty ones and good quality. Omega Life is cheap and tastes great.
