Flax oil

I'm thinking of getting some flax oil to add to my oatmeal in the morning because my diet is lacking in good fats. It says that a serving size, 1 tsp, has 14g of fat. Do you think this would be a good amount to have daily?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Ok bro, flaxoil isnt bad, but as far as going for good oils i recommend you start using these oils:

Extra Virgin olive oil for cooking, baking and basting fish and chicken

Fish Oil: Supplement found in all health food stores that is high in Omega 3- fats and acids

Peanut oil (very expensive) in cooking and baking...

Flaxseed oil : My guess is you could put it in a protein shake as old school bodybuilders used to do that

Udo's Choice

Covers all the EFAs

High in Omega 3, 6, and 9s

Omega 3's is what you need to concentrate on most. The typical diet is already high in n6's. In fact, you could probably go 8 months or more and still have plenty n6's in your system.
