I was talking to my local nutrition guy. It's where I buy all my supplements. Anyways, I was talking to him about Flax oil and where to get it. He carried gel capsules at a good deal, but I told him I could get it at the grocery store for cheaper and it would last me twice as long as the capsules would.
He told me that he wouldn't recommend the oil because once you open the bottle, the majority of the oil will eventually go bad in a few days and you'll be wasting the stuff, where as the gel capsules, if kept in the fridge, are always fresh and will never go bad.
I know he's a sales man and just wants my money, but I've delt with him for a while now and I don't care if I'm wrong, but I'm just wondering if it make sense. I alot of foods go bad over time, but he made some sense about it.
Is it true?
