Flax is a very expensive supplement

I am interested in taking this as a supplement but it seems way too expensive.

This one cost $10 and has 17 ounces of flax. It say's there are about 17 servings in this container at 1 tablespoon a serving. If I take 2 tablespoons a day this it will last for about 8 days. I'd have to spend $10 every 8 days. I don't know maybe my math is wrong. Don't you think that's expensive?

if you dont hare about the liganans (r-ala benefits) than consider olive oil. get 1 gallon tubs from costco or just buy a little from the super market.

You mentioned r-ala benefits and it sound very interesting:

Does the product I linked come with lignans cause I know that some of the other brands mention ("with lignans") and some don't. Would just taking 1 tablespoon of this stuff a day do it? That should spread it to 17 days. How much of this stuff do I really need a day? I'm currently bulking so if this really benefits I will take Flax.
 
You can buy R-ala seperately (the r isomer is better than the standard racemix or non R which is the S isomer). I think all flax or safflower oil contains rala or the omegas but some now advertise High Lignan.

Sorry dont know how much to take. But i take ala 15 min b4 my PWO shake to shuttle glucose into my muscles.

olive oil has all the EFAs that flaxseed oil has?
 
i can get fish oil pretty cheaply (100 grams for $2.50 or so) so would combining that with olive oil (to get the Omega 6s) give the same EFAs as flax oil or are the Omega 6s in olive oil negligible?
