"Flavor Wave Oven"????

Ok, yes I'm at home bored and watching infomercials...
I have seen this Flavor Wave Oven info...waaay too many times...Anyone have this??????
Does it work good?????
I know the products that that guy endorses are usually pretty good ( I have a FOODSAVER and LOOOVE it!)

i don't know what that is but steamers rule imo... chicken is super juicy and tender in mine.

I don't know anything about the Flavor Wave Oven. We have a George Forman grill which is pretty cool.

I remember a few years ago...watching infomercials at 4am after getting into the vodka a wee bit. God help me, I was reaching for the phone to order some of that spray on hair. I'm not even bald. They have some kind of uncanny power, I swear.

I just bought a George Foreman Grill. It's absolutely awesome.
I was able to cook 10 chicken breasts(my lunches for the work week) in 20 minutes. Moderately thick steaks cook in about 6-8 minutes, perfect for when I wake up at 2:00am with a hunger-on....

BUMP to that Gorilla! I always made fun of those things and then I got one as a gift at x-mas. There is nothing that cooks chicken better! Damn, its so good in that thing, it almost makes me want to choke all this chicken down!

I got hungry as hell watching that infomercial. They were cooking all this good food. Was there a guy and a woman on that infomercial? If so that one guy is gay as the day is long.

ok let me promote the steamer over the george foreman grill, which i do think is also great.

ok the steamer RULES because it cooks with water, retains more juiciness, and it drains as well...

the best part about it is the fact that you get a rice bowl with it, and it's "double decker" so you can cook more than one thing at a time... BUT the best part is you just set the time to cook and walk away and listen for the ding! no hands-on! chicken breasts are done in 15 mins!

My microwave broke so I went into Walmart to get a new one when I walked by the GFG. I said WTF an bought it instead. I'm glad I did.

How long to cook long grain rice?

i'm just gonna look at the manual.. i know rice is about 30 mins.. but long grain.. it doesn't break that down. that stuff usually takes longer to cook if i'm not mistaken, so i'd give it at least another ten mins in the steamer... you just add things as you go along.. so if you have rice in there.. put it in the bottom and then when there is 15 mins to go throw in your chicken... etc.

you can cook potatos and veggies in there too but i steam my veggies in the micro and the potatos i bake.
