flagged packages

got a package siezed by customs, my question is, are all packages coming to that address going to be checked and where all does the record of this go on file? What I'm wondering is if it will get back to my probation officer because they are notified of all poliece encounters?

well, thats part of the problem,I got a couple of other orders in transit from other parts of the world, luckily they arn't big, but they will get searched too now wont they? And again, does anyone know if customs is networked somehow with law enforcement?

1st of all your probation is state/local cops
and US customs is Federal ....they hardly ever talk to each other

2nd when seized a package is kept for 30 days and then sent to be destroyed ..check us customs website ..DON'T E-MAIL THEM...
so if 30 days past your usually in the clear

3rd your assuming that your address is the one that is flagged
but offen times the address of the source is the one that is flagged and any package coming from that source is automatically
seized at the custom house and held until you pick it up
Many people don't realize to 90% of the time it is just plain luck that a package is held ...
it can be held for lost of reasons not just because of your address

samething happed to me. one was seized while others were in transit. all from the same country. the others made it through. but it's still sound advice to change you addys once the other packages arrive.
