flabby chest

Two things will help. Training and dieting.

I had a pretty shitty fat chest and tried to get rid of it just by leaning up. I ended up still having fat nipples while having a six pack.

My chest didn't look good until I added a bunch of muscle mass onto my pecs. Even though my nipples still stay fat when I'm pretty lean, my chest looks a whole lot better and I'm not ashamed. A little more dieting and cardio and I should be rid of them.

thanks it's good to here other people have this problem not just me i am cutting down right now any specific exercise to help or should i lower my fat intake til very little and just eat protein

eating just protein wouldn't be good, excess just gets converted to glucose or fat, try keto diet if you'd like, also plenty of dips and incline presses work well along with some decline flies

fat % must exceed protein %, basically. some signs of ketosis are polish nail breath, better energy levels, very little carb cravings. you can qualitatively check if you're in ketosis w/ keto sticks, but i don't use them. Just as long as you eat more fat than you do protein you'll do fine.

you're not going to be able to spot reduce your chest fat....building up the pecs will help give you a tighter look, chest fat is usually estrogenic, like the love handles so its usually very stubborn and one of the last to go... so if you want to lose it you are going to have to lose fat other places too....train hard, diet hard, and you'll get it off

40-60% of men are reported to have some degree of Gyno.

If you leaned out really well and they are still flabby, you can either work on building monster pecs to eclipse it or go have it taken care of.

People who have a flabby chest due to excess skin can add size to the pec's so that the loose skin now forms over the muscle, I think that's what he meant.

If you have puffy nips and a hard tissue behind it, get gyno surgery and possibly nipple resizement if neccesary. The gyno surgery will take out the lump; hard estrogenic fat, If performed by a well trained cosmetic surgeon, It can benefit you since it now looks like an all muscle chest when you take out the "pointy" part. (nipple area)

When on keto is there a limit to the water you can have also does anybody have any links to read up on it

The only danger of TOO much water that I know of is during excersise you can lose alot of salt and cause your brain to swell. You also lose electrolytes from pissing like a race horse.

Hi all, I'm new here.
Five years ago I got a, uh, boob job. I used to be a fat kid (5'5", 180lbs), but once I dropped to 150 from dieting I still had saggy man tits so I got surgery. Now I've been working out for a year and a half, and having the boobs before benefit me. The ends of the tissue was lobbed off, so that area looks like solid pecs now. Of course, lifting definitely contributed to it. The surgery was done by cutting around the edge of the, uh, nipple "saucer", so there's no noticable scar. Also, it was covered by insurance!

how long after surgery did it take your chest to heal up i am going to try and do as much as i can though exercise and diet to try and avoid that but how long does it take to heal up?

spyder, if the lump is hard behind the nipple then you are very likely going to have to have surgery to remove it. If it is just a soft fat then you can try dieting. It can take a few months to heal and before it looks better, it will look worst because of swelling. It's definately worth it though.

Oh man, after the surgery I had to wear this thing that I'd describe as a padded sports bra. It wasn't fun. I had to sleep on my back for about two months too, which sucked because I used to always sleep on my stomach. I'd say it was all healed up and didn't hurt a bit after about three months.
But I'm telling you, it was worth it! :D

Look, just forget the keto diet. I have done it and did not like it. While there is no doubt that the diet works, it does not particularly lend itself to sparing muscle. And muscle is the most important factor in your metabolic rate that you can control. I would highly recommend talking to a good trainer and people on this board to get set up with a good basic body building diet and go from there with a good basic exercise program like the HST. Apply those methods and keep it simple. Within 8-16 weeks you will be a new person. So forget the keto thing, it's good for some and the obese but in the end it's all calories in = calories out so you can see how it does not matter. Carbs are good and your body needs them, just not too much, everything in moderation.

Peace.
