Well for the last year and 1/2 I have one the one part per week..i think I need to up it to seesome good results...going to the gym tonight..home with a sick kid

Well I am going up to our cabin for the weekend....no weights...BUT I packed my heart rate monitor and plan on getting my cardio in......packed my calories/prot/carb book so I can log my calories in as much as possible.....

Please ...we can put them all in a room and shut the door lol..Okay workout stunk...had to cram something in, but Girl scouts, softball and religious ed for the girls really got in the way lol

Alternating db curls: 3 sets, 12 reps 20#

Didn't help that that one of the best looking guys I know sat there and talked to me while I "tried" to work out....oh but he makes me think of other things.......

Hubby got the worst of it when he got home LOL...working out tends to do that to me and then put a handsome man in the room! I'm all for some good sight seeing!!!!

Yeah well at least you have eye candy at your gym... I don't have much eye candy at my gym... Maybe 1 or 2. We just don't have any guys that are totally ripped and young that's all.
We have the college guys coming in in their jeans?! Yeah I can take them serious. Or the old dudes that smell and don't care and they don't mind chatting and spitting on you.
Maybe I should look at going to a different gym??? Hmmm we have that Lifetime Fitness one! I wonder what they cost? Maybe I could go there once or twice a week for a change in 'scenery' :) mwhaaaaa

Same here! And the guys who think "cool" is working their uppers only so they end up looking like cartoon characters with no legs - and they never tan below the belt either. :rolleyes:
 
March 30th....you know just when I have the drive motivation and will to train my ass off...I hurt my damn knee......soooo resting this the rest of the week....will log in diet...but no workout for me....maybe upper body if it does not hurt the knee.

I know Treilin....but damn...everytime I pick a date to comptete and get going....BAM this happens....well last time was much worse.......plus I feel huge right now for some reason
 
Much better thank you! Still a throbbing pain behind my knee which is where the Bakers cyst is located...so I think I might just need a shot....and I'm back on YAY

hey girl....waiting to go to the orthoped ..maybe today...he has been on Jury duty lol did a hour on cardio kickboxing (not my usual, I prefer the real stuff) and my knee is really tight feeling....

When I was doing my leg curls today, I felt something popping in the back of my right knee. I instantly thought of you. Hope you get it all worked out soon. Do the best you can for now. :rose:

Crap I hit the wrong button...okay knee up date....

1.) we are going to continue to ice for a week and take relafen......

2.) If it is still hurting he is going to inject some kind of med into my knee OUCH..if it kills the pain then they know that it is the knee its self and will treat...OR

3.) they will go in and scope to see if my first MRI missed any torn cartledge....which is the last resort right now


But it hurts like a SOB from him jackin it around...Jen I thought about you!!
 
Thanks IP....that Relafen knocked me out..I'm only going to take it at night and just take motrin in the day time...I won't be able to function

Knee is feeling pretty good today....So Im hoping the first option is working! Little nervous about food intake today going to my moms to celebrate easter which wouldn be that bad but I have to di it again tomorrow...so I will just stay focused on clean eating.....

Okay weekend over....went well all healthy choices and lots of water....walked with the hubby around the lake last night for 35 min....leg is a little sore, but I had to take some steriods..no not the good ones...for my breathing....so it always make my joints a little stiff......Hope you all had a great Easter.....
