Fist Cycle. What dod you think?

32 5'10 182 pounds. I'll be running my first cycle starting in 2 weeks. I started working out about 18 months ago and have been real good with my diet and workout schedule since. I was pretty weak when I started (I had never worked out in my life before that). I'm going to be running the following. I'm going to be taking some Novaldex to keep bloat down during cycle and then running HCG for PCT. What do you guys think? I've done a good amount of research.

25mg Dbol weeks 1-4
500 mg Test weeks 1-10

What kind of strength gains can I be expected to see? I can bench press 175 about 4 times. I know this is not alot at all, but it's a hell of alot better then when I started 18 months ago (at least I don't throw up when I look in the mirror anymore)...
 
great first cycle.. gonna be like mine... except with 30mgs dbol... but u have been working out for 18 months.. i've been workig out for about 8 and a half years and im starting my first... well couldn;t start before because i was too young and needed to research. looks like u need to research pct some more. need more than hcg for pct.
other than that everything looks fine

You think I should up the Dbol to 30mg? How much strength gains do you think I'll see? What will my bench go up to if I do everything right on the cycle (diet, training, sleep, etc....).

I like it bro. The only thing I'd do is also run nolva post, not just hcg. I think that's a good 1st cycle and I don't think anyone will knock you for benching 175 for 4, at least you're in the gym and making improvements. The strength gains you get will still depend on how your body responds to dbol/test but I'd suspect you won't be disappointed just don't expect too much. Good luck!

hmmm looks good bro, not a bad first cycle..except one thing that i must take off my chest...lately we have had alot of newbies (shit im still one too) come in and say that they are ready for the juice and only have been lifting for 18 months...WTF....i believe that in your case, alot of good clean food, sleep, and hard hard training and alot more understanding of training first will do you alot better...im starting to feel that some of these guys think that because they know how to bench it means they are personal trainers and now are ready for the juice!!!! ok i feel better...but looks good bro.

stick with 25... im 230 right now and ill be doing 30 mgs. i figured im a bigger guy so i can handle that for now. as for bench add like 5 lbs each week. don't over do it! u dont want to hurt yourself in the middle of the cycle. stick with reps 8- 12, and maybe every few weeks you can do some heavier sets at 4-6 . Just remember to eat a lot , good clean ( mostly clean) food. and get enough rest. and dont overtraining by working out 7 days a week.

You know I actually went to a doctor to get all my tests done and I told him what cycle I was doing (the guy is a great doctor and a total juice head). He told me I didn't need any Nolva or Chlomid to help bring my nuts back and to keep my gains, only HCG (1IU every other day for 20 days). What's the Chlomid and Nolva for?

3 day split sweed? is that what your saying...so chest/back one day legs/shoulders next and so on?

i would use the hcg for pct and the nolva...nolva you should have on hand in case of gyno bro and its recommended that you incorporate the nolva in your pct...i would do alot more research before you start

no no... just saying doing reps 8-12 for a few weeks, then one week, do some lower reps for some change.. get it?
 
I think that since you're 32 years old, there's nothing wrong with running a test cycle after training for 18 months just research the PCT a little more because you will want your "boys" back.

Your first time? Im glad to see a newbie doing a sencable cycle for a change. You should get great results and Im thinking you should be able to reach a 225 bench by week 7 or 8. Good luck. Bam
 
Thats a pretty good start but I would up it a little bit mabey 40 mgs of d bol and 750 - 1000mgs of test. Sounds like my first cycle I wish I would have gone bigger though. Either way you'll love your gains. Good Luck Bro. :evil:

750 - 1000 mgs for a first cycle and hes only been working out 18 months?? i think 500 is good, and i alsoo think the 40 mgs of dbol is a little too high for a first also... jmo

He's partly right. I pulled this directly from the pct forum. Hopefully it helps explain things a bit better for you.

Clomid / Nolv
Important note: Clomid does not, as is often thought, stimulate the release of natural testosterone, but rather works at reducing the oestrogenic inhibition caused by the steroid cycle. It does this in a similar manner to the way it and Nolvadex block oestrogen receptors in nipples to combat gyno development, i.e. by blocking the oestrogen receptors in the hypothalamus and pituitary thus reducing the inhibition from the elevated oestrogen. This allows LH levels to return to normal, or even above normal levels, and in turn, natural testosterone levels to also normalise. .

HCG
Its action in the male body is like that of LH, stimulating the Leydig cells in the testes to produce testosterone even in the absence of endogenous LH. HCG is therefore used during longer or heavier steroid cycles to maintain testicular size and condition, or to bring atrophied (shrunken) testicles back up to their original condition in preparation for post-cycle Clomid therapy. This process is necessary because atrophied testicles produce reduced levels of natural testosterone, this situation should be rectified prior to post-cycle Clomid therapy.

I'm assuming that you meant 1000IU's . 1IU oed would total 10IU's for the entire pct.......that's not gonna get the job done.
IMO HCG should not be taken without nolvadex because it can cause gyno
