I am going to inject into my quad later 2day for the first time. The pics that I have seen were not very good, but i think i have a pretty good idea. Anway I was wondering, lets just say I dont get it exactly where it is suppsoed to be, but I get it in teh general area. Will I still be OK? Or does any of it get wasted?
(sorry if this sounds liek a stupid question... just curious b4 i do it)

Fuck that......did that yesterday........fucks up leg work outs and running.

SIT...Look down at the top of your right leg....Imagine a line right down the center... now go over about 2" to the right and in the middle on your leg (from your knee to your hip)....IMO this is the general area ... check for surface veins, you should be able to see them in good light..... do not want to go thru one, but it is ok if you do..... do not want to pin yourself on the imaginary line... there is a major nerve in that area or so i have been advised....

What are you going to inject?

I have always injected on my quads. I must agree that sometimes it hurts when you put the needle in. If it hurts then, I take it out and try it somewhere nearby.

My left leg already has a bump (its almost gone now) and my right leg is not in great shape either.

Today I tried my right glute (not a successful operation) and I bent the needle and also the seringe aspirator!!! Ended up doing my right quad again.!!!:(

I just can't do it if I can't see it!. Even if it hurts at least I can inject it all.

I guess I have learned to live with the pain!

i injected into my quads a few times recently and i really like it, its much more convenient than having to turn around and hit the glutes, i only feel a tiny bit of pain when it first breaks the skin, but after that its all good!

I have just started to hit my quads. The first one was very painful, I couldn't walk for a couple of days. I didn't go lateral enough. The last 3 have been painless. I am injecting cyp and tren. I learned that I had to go way to the lateral side of my leg, and hit the head of the muscle. I go a hand length down from my greater trochanter.

I have always done quads. I find the spot by letting my arms hang down and where the tips of my fingers are on my lateral head is where I shoot. I scratch a circle on the skin and it gives a nice bulls eye to shoot into. Haven't had a problem other than going through a small vein now and then. With the t-200 it is painfull but not unbearible, Quad just feels extreamly tight and hard as a rock.

Quad injections are way easier than glute shots. Sometimes they hurt a little, other times no pain at all. And the pain you get is not so bad that you have to scream out in pain. Just a little pressure or pinching feeling.

tigertat, that is a great way to know where to shoot. That is exactly where I have been shooting the last couple of times. Just make sure to stay lateral, if you don't you will hit a different quad muscle and I found it to be quite painful.

just stick it anywhere in the quad muscle, and push in, if you goto far it will start hurting, or hit a nerve and it'll hurt, thats what i go by....never had any problems and i hate injecting
