Looking back at all the jobs that I have held, I realized that I have never had a Monday through Friday job. I've been a bag boy at a grocery store when I was 16, then a pizza delivery guy, then a server, then tech support, customer service, manager at a home decor store in the mall, Radiology transporter, and finally an X-Ray Tech.
Since my wife and I have been together, she always worked weekends also because she used to work in a salon which required her to work weekends so I would usually try to get the same days off during the week as her. I didn't mind though as getting the same days off as her was more important than watching football or just sitting home alone. Now that she does hair at home while taking care of our daughter and I don't work the two 16 hour shifts on the weekends as a transporter, I'm able to relax on the weekend like most people now which will be weird.
This will be one of the only entire weekends that I have off as I'll be working at least one of the weekend days for a while but only for 4 hours so it's almost as if I'll have the day off though.
I can't wait until I'll actually be able to sit and watch PPV fights at night without worrying about having to get up early for work on Sunday plus I can actually watch football all day long.
Is anyone else in the same situation where almost every job that they have held required weekends?
