Ill never understand 1st gear wheelies.. My bike will do almost 100 in first gear but its still way too jumpy to get it up smoothly.. Id rather bounce up 2nd or 3rd anyday....

1st gear on an R1....= not a good idea. that rider has no business on a performance liter bike IMO.
