First Cycle Question

Hey guys i have started my first cycle (2 pins in) of test enanthate 500mg p/w 250mg mon/thurs.
i will also be running dieselbolan 75mg p/d v2.0 week 2-6 (still waiting on it in the mail).

pct and ai's ready to go on hand

6ft 5, 220lbs, 12% bodyfat (just finished a short cut before this cycle, wanted to get a leaner base) training 5 days a week push/pull/legs.

my question is what sort of weight gain should i aim for, ive read alot of varying threads from 5lbs to 25lbs, i would like to keep fat gain to a minimum and have no trouble eating clean 90% of the time. my appetite has gone through the roof already this could be either the test starting to work or going from cut to bulk so soon. (first pin was my refeed day on cut and bulking from thereout till the end)

what do you guys think? thanks in advance :)

Gains? It depends on a lot of things and how long you're running the cycle for. I take it you're going to run it for more than 6 weeks. You say you running dieselbolan at 2-6 weeks, hence why I ask: how long are you going with the cycle?

If you're going for a bulk and your calories are clean and just enough to elicit a bulking cycle you should make an extra 7Ibs at least if you run for 12 weeks. The guys who experience 25Ibs generally pack some water weight and fat gain with it, which is to be expected really, due to the calorie requirements for maximising gains. If you really don't want the fat gains then your anabolic response probably won't be maximised because you'd be walking a fine line between some gains and "the most gains" which will almost inevitably lead to some undesired but expected fat mass.

On a bulk most generally eat clean but plenty. They get the most from the cycle and then approach the fat gains on PCT and the next cycle if it's a cutting one.

Very clean diet and just over maintenance calories = 6Ib - 12Ib
Plenty of calories above maintenance and not worry about fat or CHO intake = 13Ib>

That's purely a speculative estimate on my part but I think it gives a general idea.

but i want to avoid fat gain thats the only problem :( if i just train hard and eat clean is the fat gain likely to be small?

The only thing that will dictate how much you gain in muscle/fat is your diet. If your ultimate goal is muscle gain without fat gain then eat accordingly. Keep the cals clean
 
thanks heaps guys definatly put my mind at ease with those replies. i will be running for 12-14 weeks (will see how far 3 vials) i guess ill eat around 750 above maintenance and train as hard as i possibly can and see how i feel around mid cycle, i dont mind a little bit of fat as i can cut it off later and manage to get fat off pretty easily. i guess ill shoot for between 10 and 15lbs which should be just outside of lean gains and take advantage of the first cycle. thanks much fellas :)
