First Cycle Help???

I've been thinking of taking something to help me get more cut and I need some suggestions, everything I've read is confusing me. I'm 30 yrs. old 5'9" weigh 165 with 21%BF I lift fairly heavy four days a week and have been doing it for years, cardio 4 days for at least 30 min most times 45min to an hour. My goals are to get leaner and more cut, I have a good amount of muscle mass and need to keep it for my job. Could you please suggest some things to try?
 
When you say "cut" do you mean lose weight? Steroids will NOT make you lose weight. If you mean add muscle, that's a different story. I am sure sassy will be along shortly to help you out.
 
I'd have pretty much the same questions - what specifically is your goal & what would you be expecting from a cycle. Lots of what people think requires the drugs can actually be accomplished by tweaking your diet first.
 
Yes, I would like to lose maybe 10 pounds and gain more muscle definition and maybe a little more mass but I don't want to be huge like a body builder. I can't be really skinny either because I'm a firefighter and it just wouldn't work for my job.My diet consists of the following

Meal 1: Oatmeal w/ 1/3c. of raisens and 1c.of skim milk
Meal 2: 2oz. turkey on whole grain bread with lettuce & tomatoe 1oz of baked lays and a piece of fruit. Sometimes I switch it up with salad or 1/3c almonds or 1c. unsweetened applesauce
Meal 3: Post workout Protein Shake
Meal4: 4oz. chicken or steak, 1c. green beans, and 4oz. sweet potatoe
Snack: 60cal. pudding cup.
One cheat day a week

My workout consists of lifting 4 days a week for approximately an hour doing 4 sets of 10-12 reps with 30sec. rest and then an hour of cardio (40 min on the stepper and 20 min of running/walking). I can be more specific if it's necessary.

I really appreciate you guys getting back to me so fast...everyone on here seems so nice. I'll try to insert a picture and maybe that will help
 
Calories look too low. Fat is non-existant. Plug everything into www.fitday.com and you can get your daily caloric intake and macronutrient breakdown. Fix the diet and results will come like wildfire. Check out stickies at the top.

Too much cardio. What specifically are you doing weight-wise - I mean exercise choices?

AAS is not the answer at this point. They will not help you lose 10 lbs, nor will they help you gain muscle on that diet.

Agreed.

There is still much room for improvement in your diet. As Daisy said your not eating enough cutting calories are 10 - 12 x body weight. If your main goal is to lose 10 lbs this can be done without AAS.
 
Also just a note - at 21% bf you have lots of room to drop some bodyfat and exchange it for some lean muscle mass. I wouldn't worry about the weight so much. With a diffierent body composition (fat to muscle ratio) you can make the same weight look amazingly better.

And yes, definitely first ALWAYS look at your diet to determine if it is truly helping you meet your goals or is it causing you to not meet your goals..?

Sometimes I switch it up with salad or 1/3c almonds or 1c. unsweetened applesauce (for your goal Id ditch the baked lays & if the turkey is deli meat, Id probably toss that too .. there are worse choices, yes, but Im thinking of ways to clean this up a bit ... I just ate an apple + pb... that is an option for a meal sometime too... if you chose the apple & pb Id get in another meal after it, BEFORE the PWO shake below)

^^ Id probably get another meal in there, if you want the pudding maybe have it a few hours before your workout or earlier in the day... I like fat beofre bed, walnuts, almonds, all natty PB etc...

Seems like too much activity for your food intake. Sure post a pic that will def. help!

This is an interesting post. The author is extremely anti-steroid use, so it seems strange she would be on the internet soliciting cycle advice. :confused:

She was not very tolerant of her ex-boyfriend's steroid use and was very vocal about it. It seems she's had a change of heart? Perhaps the falcon has heard the falconer? Or is she just a hyporcrite? I'm betting on the latter.

I guess that DHEA isn't gettin it done. . .

Well, if you must go the drug route, I'd start off with 5mg of Anavar a day and you can run it up to 10mg if 5mg isn't working. Does this advice sound familiar? The only problem you might have is your clitoris might become enlarged. This is a common side-effect of Anavar in women. Although the women I know who run Var seem to enjoy this side-effect - I'm sure you will too. :blow:

Oh, and if you are going to solicit steroid advice on-line be smart enough to disguise your screen name better. Lots of people know that screen name from other places. :licker:
