First cycle ever -- should I be worried?

I'm on my first cycle ever. Basically taking 400 mg EQ and 400 mg Test Cyp for about 10 weeks, with Nolvadex throughout and some Winny winding things up. PCT in there too.

Anyway, I'm on day 16 and while I've noticed strength increases I haven't noticed any mass increases that I can't attribute to diet. Is this normal? Should I be worried that my gear is fake? I know EQ takes a while, and Cyp needs to buildup...but how patient should I be before I'm worried?

I'm 31, 5'10", 175 lbs. Been training for years. Eating everything I can...about 8 meals a day (several of those are protein shakes, sometimes with weightgainer). I haven't been counting calories--I've just been concentrating on getting at least 30g protein/meal, figuring if I did that carbs/calories would be there.

Thanks in advance for your advice/experience.
 
Alright. One, most guys will tell you that EQ takes about 6 weeks to fully kick in, so you still have a few more weeks to go. The cyp should kick in in about a week or two.

Second, you should take time out for one day to count your carbs, protein and fats to see what you really are consuming.

Are you trying to bulk? Looks like a lean bulker/cutter to me.

I want to put on lean mass. I figured I'd rather gain slow and w/o water, in the hopes that between that and PCT I'll keep a lot of what I gain. My goal was 15 solid lbs over 10-12 weeks.

Yeah, wasn't expecting too much from the EQ yet. But when you say the Test should kick in in about a week or two, you mean from now? Or from the beginning?

I do need to log my diet. My immediate solution (as of this week) has been to add ~500 cal/day.
 
You should notice the test around wk. 4 or 5. There's no need for the nolva unless you start to see gyno symptoms bro. Save it for pct.
 
trade in the nolva throughout for adex .5mg ed,, but yes you should start to see the test very soon, i dont know anything from experience about your eq though
 
As above, no point in nolva throughout, could be worth looking at at least .5 of a-dex throughout.

Think 10 weeks is pretty short for EQ.

Only 16 days in i wouldn't be too concerned but best get the diet nailed now.
 
3 compounds for ur first time up to the plate huh?
Not what I would recommend, but oh well. Anyway, you need to just relax a bit. EQ is slooooowwwww to kick in. A few more weeks and you should be in full swing.

by the way,, how did you arrive at this formula for your first cycle? Just wonderin cause it is not the norm as far as virgin cycs go
 
i like the cycle. if your gear is legit, you are fine. eq takes a while longer to kick in. the test takes a few weeks for blood levels to peak. i would not worry that you have not put on any mass yet, probably another week or two before you start noticing mass increase.
you may want to count you protein and cals up exactly. "around" 30grams protein for "around" 8 meals is not enough. what if it is actrually around 20 grams protien at 6 meals? thats only 120 grams protein. and not enough cals.
IMO i suggest you get your diet completely in check now so that you can see some real gains.
you weight is 175 pounds, so I would make SURE that you get 300 grams of protein per day. with 3500-4000 cals.
Im not a diet expert, but those are my suggestions. Good luck bro

I was interested in using EQ because I'd read about slower bloat-free gains with lower overall sides. Then my source recommended this as a good lean cycle overall. I'm actually tempering it down...it's supposed to be a little shorter but with 3 weeks at 600 mg of each. You think the 12 or so weeks this will last at 400 mg each, plus Winny tabs, is too intense for a first timer?

If so, I'm screwed--I've already started!
 
12 weeks is good... save the winny for the next cycle. also the test and eq will kick in around week 5... thats why i like to front load with a oral like dbol! :) gets my weight and strength up real quick. however starting my cycle tonight, but i am going to frontload my test and eq to see if it will kick in sooner. the lbs will start coming soon, keep at it.

how bout the diet bro?
 
is it just me who would know by the increased sexual libido times 100 for anything over 250mgs of test per week.
