First cycle dilemma

Hey everyone,

This would be my first post here on the forums. I've been searching through a lot of old threads and doing research for a while now but I have a dilemma that can only be answered by a fresh thread.

Ok, I've been lifting for 4 years. I'm 27 / 5'10 / 175 pounds / 10% BF.

I am wanting to try anabolics and have my mind set on a test prop only cycle for 6 weeks. AI will be Aromasin and PCT will be centered around a nolva cycle (amongst other things HCGenerate etc..)

My dilemma is that I've been natty lifting for a while with good gains but I am desperate to step it up. However, in 7 weeks I leave my country for an overseas travel experience lasting almost 6 months. During that time I will be training minimally.

I want to know what everyone's thoughts are as to whether it is a good idea to do a cycle before I leave. I had my mind almost made up but now I am questioning whether it is worth it. Logic tells me no but you know what it is like when you excited about something and .. well you want gains.

Obviously, everything I will gain would be lost whole traveling. PCT would also have to be done on the move and training would be minimal.

What would other people do in my shoes? I'm desperate to give it a go but is it sensible before going away? Will my body react badly to a cycle and then barely any training and different diet?

You're smart to be asking this question....and you're right, you shouldn't be running anything in this situation.

Not because you'll be traveling and unable to train, but mostly because if you're 5'10and 175 pounds you have no base and juice won't do anything for you.

With all due respect I do have a base. I've put on a lot of lean muscle since I started training many years ago. I've paid my dues with diet and training. I'm not a huge guy but I know my shit when it comes to training. Anabolics is where I am new. I'm not jumping on them at 20 years old after training for 2 months here..

From what I have seen; friends of mine (IFBB / Physique competitors) have seen great gains with similar stats.
 
If you are set on doing it I would wait till after your trip and run Test E for a 12 week cycle at 500 mg a week and have your proper anti estrogen and your proper PCT.
 
Thanks for reply and advice. Test prop was chosen as I am cutting down at the moment. I'm looking for a lean, hard physique and wanted a faster acting Ester. I get your point though.. wait for a time where conditions allow for a less rushed cycle.
 
Seeing as though you will be taking six months off, you might as well wait and assess the situation when you are ready to begin training again
 
Yea I may not have access to gear in my new country. This is probably my only chance for quite a while to experience. I'm also in good condition to start at the moment.. hence my enthusiasm. Thanks for your comment though.. you're the second person with a vote to postpone.
 
Why don't you look into sarms instead? They are great for a first time, very anabolic with minimal side effects and pct is much easier than aas.
 
Good question! And the answer is no it's best to wait til after. To tone down training intensity immediately post cycle is a great way to lose all you worked for.

Slightly seperate but I have Aromasin from ag guys. I have heard it can be used solo to reduce estrogen, boost test and create a drier look. Any thoughts on that?
 
Sure bro. First pic is when I started training. About 170 pounds.. but around 18% BF.

Second pic about 2 months ago. Time between shots around 2 years.

Well done....are you sure you're only 175?

You look like you have some quality pounds there, especially in the arms........

Thanks bro! Yea about 176 in that pic. My height is actually 5'9.. measured today :p

Body fat around 10% here.

I think I have accepted it isn't the right time for me to get into AAS.. :(

I've decided to try a SARMS cycle. Not sure how I missed info on it before.. I did a little research and ordered both GW and S4. I'm looking forward to seeing some mild results.

Really appreciate advice given in this thread.
