Finished my first month of really clean diet and lifting with a cheat meal here or there. I went from 6'0 185 to 170-167lbs but I am a lot stronger. Haven't really improved much on the bench press though.
I got measured with the calipers and I'm at 9.3% body fat now. (21yo male) I don't know what I was at before but I would imagine it was more around 14-15%?
I'm a hockey goalie so I don't want to be huge, just a bit bigger than I am now, because I don't want to impede movement and flexibility. I just want to have a really strong core and quads as well as look cosmetically good.
Is this a good enough base to just start eating probably around 1000 more calories a day and put on some more mass or should I just keep doing what I'm doing?
Also I've only been taking Whey...thinking about maybe some creatine or other sups. If you have recommendations there I would like to try some new things.
Thanks everyone!
